Heath has been on the run for at least 4 months, making his way from Cross Creek Ranch all the way to Buc-ee’s. Multiple people tried to get him, but he was too smart for his own good. Traps and cameras were set in multiple locations, but no luck.

We hired a professional trapper to safely dart him last week, but he missed. The darter was successful tonight, though he charged $550 ($200 more than his normal rate). We are just glad the dog is safe.

Heath will been given Capstar and heartworm/flea/tick prevention. He will need to be seen by a vet, vaccinated, fixed and chipped. Rescues are drowning, so we are raising funds to offset both the darting and medical expenses.

Any extra funds raised will be used to help other dogs like him.
