<div>Heather is a radiant LIGHT in the lives of everyone who knows her—a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, daughter, cherished preschool teacher, and loyal friend to all.

<div>If you know Heather, you have experienced her kindness, open door, willingness to HELP and serve no matter how big or small the ask or need. She puts others first offering compassion and support to anyone, and of course her hugs. She takes on life with POSITIVITY and optimism, she just can’t help but see the world that way. Her family says it reminds them of an old movie they watched growing up - “Pollyanna” where a young girl tackled life and its challenges by spreading cheer with the “GLAD GAME” as a way to find the upside in any situation. Heather is the same. Even now with a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, Heather sees the good, the humor, the MIRACLES and focuses on the silver lining!

<div>Recently Heather had her first colonoscopy and received a SHOCKING cancer diagnosis. Having never been sick or had any indication of disease, she bravely underwent SURGERY to remove a large part of her colon only to receive news that cancer was present in lymph nodes and has now devastatingly metastasized to the liver.

<div>She now faces a challenging road ahead with extensive chemotherapy treatments and a crucial LIVER surgery required to give her the best chance at recovery.
</div>

</div>
<div>As if that weren’t enough, the day before her first surgery, Heather’s health insurance unexpectedly DROPPED HER COVERAGE. She had to make the impossible choice between delaying a critical, life-saving surgery or moving forward without coverage. She chose life—putting her FAITH in God.

</div>
<div>Now, Heather and her family are facing overwhelming medical EXPENSES, on top of the emotional and physical toll of cancer. But she isn’t fighting alone. If you know Heather, you know she would give the shirt off her back for someone in need—without hesitation. She is truly one of the most selfless, LOVING souls you could ever meet. Now it’s our turn to GIVE back to her.
