Heart surgery & furloughed within two weeks

On February 14th, I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease, and my cardiologist scheduled an immediate heart surgery that took place on March 12th. Yesterday March 26th, and only two weeks after my surgery, I learned that me and all of my co-workers in our corporate office at Hilton had been furloughed. Never crossed my mind that I would be living through a situation like this; it is much worst than everything I have ever seen before, including 9-11 and the financial meltdown of 2008. In other circumstances, I would be freelancing or applying to temporary jobs I can perform in the meantime.

Unfortunately, the situation with Covid-19 has escalated pretty quickly, and now I'm within the "population at risk". Since I have a four and a six-year-old kids, I want to stay at home and focus on my recovery for the next three months. Because of the surgery, I was forced to use a chunk of my safety net in deductibles, which put me in a precarious situation to deal with this furloughed situation and my recovery simultaneously. I'm asking for some money that helps me navigate this crisis and hopefully rejoin my company when all this is set and done.

Here is the surgery order from the hospital and here the furlough noticed from Hilton that will start in a week from today (Friday April 3rd).

Thanks for your help in the name of my entire family.
