We at Hearth Learning Ventures in Taos, New Mexico ask for your support in working with young people, harnessing renewable energy sources, tending rescue horses, making meals for the hungry, honoring and venturing in nature, creating art, reaching out to multi-cultural communities to celebrate our diversely beautiful world, AND STAYING WARM!-), all while learning academic skills to thrive and serve in our society.
Our students and parents are asking for a warm, dependable transport and a protected, focused work space close to our multiple endeavors, so I am asking you for your investment in this MOBILE CLASSROOM, converted from a mini-school bus, POWERED BY COMPOST (used french fry oil)--with future intentions to add solar power as well--in order to generate inspiration and enthusiasm in ecological approaches, focus and broad awareness, and creativity and empowerment attuned to the needs and potentials of our unfolding world.
Join us if you please towards our goal of $12,250, ALL of which we will ALSO offer as scholarships to children from local indigenous communities, made possible by the extra space afforded by this Eco Bus Mobile Classroom!
In gratitude, Teacher David Hearth Learning Ventures
