A Heartbroken Mother Needs Your Help Please Donate to Lay Her Baby to Rest

We are reaching out today with tears in our eyes and a deep, heavy ache in our hearts. Our dear family friend, is facing an unimaginable tragedy, and she needs your help more than ever.

On 21/07/2025 our beautiful family friend, a loving mother, tragically miscarried her 14 week old baby due to baby’s age she has had to deliver baby in hospital. The pain of losing a child is a grief that no one should ever have to endure. But for our family friend this loss is compounded by the financial burden of being unable to provide the proper burial for her baby something we feel is essential for her peace and healing.

To make matters even harder, because of her unique circumstances, she is not eligible for any bereavement payments:

As a New Zealand citizen, she has already exhausted her government assistance in the past.

Since her baby was not 20 weeks old, she’s not entitled to any stillborn payments.

To add to this heartbreak, the hospital has a contract issue with the cremation company, and her baby’s cremation will not be possible for weeks. As a mother grieving the loss of her child, this delay is simply unbearable.

In the midst of this profound sadness, her one wish is to give her baby a peaceful, dignified resting place. She does not want to be left without the opportunity to say goodbye in a way that feels right to her heart. The emotional toll of this loss is more than she can bear and now, the financial burden is too heavy for her to shoulder alone.
