<div>Hi. My name is Evan and this week my family was hit by shocking and tragic news. My father’s wife, Angela has sadly taken her own life on Wednesday Sept 3rd. Currently, Angela is on a ventilator in the ICU at HCA Ocala hospital.

<div>The sad reality is that she will not make through the weekend due to the trauma caused by the bullet. As I write this, she is technically alive while doctors find viable donors for her organs. Ang has been through more than a lifetime of pain and trauma that nobody should have to go through. She was ALWAYS so giving and thoughtful of others like the “Angel” she is. So it’s only fitting that as a final act of selflessness she can give is being an organ donor for someone in need.

<div>My father Neil found her moments after the incident, but at that point it was too late. My dad has always been so strong but nobody should EVER have to suffer the pain he is going through. He lost his best friend of 25 years. And my 20 year old baby sister Samara is also now without a mom. It was way too soon for a daughter to be stripped of her mother.

<div>Angela was in my life since I was 11 years old. Growing up Angela was always the one with the ideas of making summers fun! Whether it was a trip to Disney world, the pool, or even an abandoned building down the street, she made sure that we were always fed a home-cooked meal and snacks/peanut butter and honey sandwiches were made to take with. She never tried to be anything other than who she was.

<div>You’d never know it from meeting her right away but Angela had such a big personality and was nothing short of a vivacious energy that the world didn’t get enough of. There is no doubt that she had her troubles and demons, but she was always so strong (like her hugs and handshakes‍). Stronger than that was her deep love for my family.

<div>To her, family was everything. Even still at 31 years old, she’d invite me to thanksgiving dinner knowing how hard it’d be for me to make it. It was always because she wanted me to know that if i didn’t have anywhere to go, she’d make a plate for me.

<div>I can keep filling this text box with decades of memories and love for Angela but I’m making this because my father and sister now have to pick up the pieces together. It will be a hard road ahead as we all try to make sense of the immense void and absence felt around the house. She is gone way too early.
