My name is Octavio Rodriguez I'm the uncle of little Jimena, my wife and I live in Las Vegas, NV and we were ask to help create this campaing by my sister in  law which we did under her name.  All funds we have collected so far have been placed into a US account under Jimena's name which is also receiving funds from friends and collecting the money gathered at the several car wash, food and other events we have done locally.  All the funds will be transfered to the Boston Children's Hospital at least 15 days prior the surgery, from the account in the US directly to the Hospital, which is currently scheduled for November.

As we get closer to the dates we will be posting receipts and updates to keep you all inform of the progress.

Hi, 

My name is Jimena, I'm 29 months old and I've a severe Ebstein anomaly.  This is a congenital defect in my heart, which prevents me from living a normal life; I cannot run nor do much of the physical activities a happy loving girl my age will typically do.  This because of the lack of blood flow and oxygen in my body.  This can be noticed on my lips and nails when they turn purple every time I walk too much or try to play with my big sister.  

The Ebstein anomaly can lead to heart failure and my only chance is to have an open heart surgery for the doctors to try to correct my heart.

As you might imagine this will be a very expensive surgery and my parents, family and friends are doing as much as they can to raise the money quickly since the full amount needs to be paid prior the surgery date.

According to the doctor the surgery needs to be performed within the next 3 to 6 months.   I would like to have my surgery as soon as possible and there is an open window for mid November 2016.
