Heart Transplant for Kathy Beasley

As many people know my mom has had an extensive list of surgeries and heart scares. She has been in the hospital 7 times just this year alone and doctors have finally run out of options with her weak heart. The doctors want to perform what is called the LVAD, a battery operated heart that pumps the blood in the right direction and keep her healthy. The surgery is extensive and very specialist oriented, she has been at IU Hospital for the past month and the surgery can’t wait any longer. 

She has been through a tremendous amount of operations and set backs and has never quit fighting. This is just another set back for hopefully a great recovery. 

Anything helps and my family will be forever grateful. If you know my mother you know what a wonderful person she is and that when she recovers from this surgery she will want to send every person a thank you card. If you can’t help that is totally fine but please share Kathy’s story.
