Heart transplant/ Life expenses

As many of you already know my father, Brian has been through years of heart failure and surgeries. He recently underwent an L-VAD procedure this past June. Unfortunately, the L-VAD has failed and he will now be undergoing a heart transplant. The doctors are hoping this will happen within the next 2 weeks as his heart is getting weaker by the minute with a broken pump. He is being placed at the top of the transplant list. This fundraiser is something that my sister and I wanted to do to help our parents with their extra expenses they are facing now and the expenses to come after the transplant. Expenses such as gas & travel back and forth from the hospital during his 4-6 month recovery,  food, and the abundance of past medical bills. They were also just informed by the doctor that they will have to move from their home due to the location in a heavily wooded area as well as the well water and predisposition to mold growth. These conditions aren't suitable for a transplant patient. Our parents have always been so loving and were always there for us when we needed and they would never want to ask for help themselves so we are asking for them. Any help is appreciated, even if its just a prayer or a thoughtful phone call to my mom or dad. Please don't feel obligated to give anything. We appreciate the love and support.
