We Can Save Pets with Heart Disease

The proceeds for this campaign will go to providing and advancing life-saving heart surgeries for dogs and cats.

Heart disease is very common in dogs and cats.  About 10 percent of all dogs seen in primary care veterinary practices have some form of heart disease. This percentage continues to grow as dogs get older. Up to 60 percent of senior dogs experience some form of heart disease.

Giovanni Di Stadio co-founder of NAVHC said, "I lost my dog Bella, to heart disease, it was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life.  No one should have to go through losing a family member without readily available high-quality surgical options.  We intend to transform veterinary healthcare and bring our broad portfolio of heart surgeries to the world." 

Heart disease in dogs and cats is common, one of the most common forms of the disease is Mitral Valve Disease (MVD).  Although MVD is the most widely known forms of heart disease NAVHC specializes in surgical treatment of many different types of heart disease including congenital heart disease.

Some advanced heart surgeries can cost an owner up to $50,000 making the procedures unobtainable to many.  Through our foundation, we can help families who can not afford the cost of these life-saving surgeries.  The more funds we raise the more of our fur family members we can save from heart disease, ultimately keeping our families together, longer.
