Heart surgery for a musician

Donation protected
This page is to help out my brother, Kevin, with the cost of his unexpected heart surgery scheduled for the middle of April 2018. He has a congenital heart condition called mitral valve prolapse. The day where one of his heart valves needed to be replaced was inevitable but we did not expect it to be so soon and sudden! The costs of appointments thus far is already an exorbitant amount and insurance doesn't cover much, so we can't even imagine what the cost of the surgery will be. We are coming together as a family to support him and help out with the cost, but I am here reaching out to all of you for some support as well!

Kevin graduated from UMass Lowell with a bachelor's degree in music performance with a focus on percussion. Since graduating he has been teaching private drum lessons for a music studio in Newburyport, MA; teaching toddlers bucket drums at various elementary schools in the Boston area; teaching an after school percussion program for kids with special needs; is involved in multiple experimental music projects; works for an arts promoter and magazine; and much more! As you can see he is extremely busy and passionate about music. He is in the process of releasing songs from an album he has been working on for the last 2 years as well.

Kevin is a very bright, open-minded guy who always supports his friends and family in decisions that make them happy. I think it is time to rally for his soon to be recovery and help relieve him from some of the financial burdens associated with this surgery. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated!
