Hi it's me:  Siegmar writing about what has happened:
On October 31, 2016 I have had a heart attack.  After telling Eva-Maria, my wife that "I have something serious going on and that I don't want to go to the hospital", she turned around and just said "Hospital" and I was in the car with her to the Kaiser Permanente Clinic and admitted myself at the front desk. After a few minutes I was lying in bed in the ER and the doctor told me the bad news that I've had a heart attack.  I received a nitro-glycerin pill under my tongue and the tormenting pain in my chest was gone immediately. The Doctor gave further instructions that I will be flown to Honolulu this night, so that I am in the best Hospital for my heart Hawaii has to offer: Moanalua Kaiser Medical  Center.
The next day in the afternoon I received an Angioplasty examination, that pumps dye through a catheter
in my heart and shows the doctors if they can set a stent in my arteries around the heart to widen the pipe and have a better blood flow. The doctors stopped the examination after 15 minutes and I got told back in my room that there are 7 blockages around my heart and that would mean I need bypasses. I would be scheduled for open heart surgery soon but first recuperate from the heart attack.
Dealing with all the emotions and my dramatically changed reality I was pretty much going down in depression and self torture. Eva-Maria could stay with me in my room and many nurses and doctors help me to stay real and centered. One angel I need to mention here: R.P. a local Hawaiian male nurse comes into my room to draw blood from me and I tell him my calamity of heart attack and open heart surgery with the feeling of giving up and not wanting to live anymore. He simply turned to me and said: " Brah. You are not in charge of your beating heart or even if there is an open heart surgery or not.  It is God!,"  pointing up in the sky with his finger.  I immediately snapped out of my self-pitty and thanked R.P. gratefully and in tears.
After 4 days I had my appointment with the surgeons for heart surgery and my operation was set for the first session on Monday morning November 07th. I noticed that the more technical and detailed information I received, it  helped me not to be scared of surgery, so I asked the surgeons to tell me every detail of the operation.  And later I even watched YouTube clips on my iPhone that were as graphic and real as it can get. An unfathomable and baffling procedure that will be done to my body right here in front with me.
The kindness and love kept pouring towards me from staff of any kind and Eva-Maria every day and hours. After being shaved from neck to angles I was at 7 am on my way to the surgery unit.
I woke up at about 12:00 pm with Eva-Maria telling me, that I should leave my hand on the bed and not try to pull on those hoses in my throat. The afternoon went quick because I was there for minutes and knocked out most of it. I woke up again when the breath technician asked me to breath deeply in and that he will pull those aggravating hoses out of my mouth. I noticed that I was in the ICU (intensive care unit) and that one nurse was all the time practically right next with me.  A male calm voice called Alex,  telling me that I am doing great and all will be good again.

Four days after surgery I was discharged and on my flight home to Maui with Eva-Maria. I am recuperating and stay on a whole new regimen of taking statin, beta blocker, blood thinners and heart supporters.
Day by day there is an improvement and I am really having a wonderful Thanksgiving week with a new life to be grateful for. Hallelujah!
