On October 5, 2017 my 11 year old son Eashon was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy which is a failure to the left ventricle of the heart. He has since had a open heart surgery to insert a device called LVAD(Ventricular Assist Device) a temporary heart pump while waiting for a heart transplant. Since having this surgery I found that the language in my contact with Ford Motor Company won't allow the hospital he's in to do the transplant and they can't list him on the transplant list until it's approved so we have to transfer to either Cincinnati Children's or Children's in Indianapolis and I live in Louisville, KY.
He's been in a fight for his life for a month now, and while no two days are the same, I'm trying to keep him on the incline and could use some help. Even if I travel back and forth to Cincinnati as outpatient it will be very costly and I'd appreciate any help if it's laid on your heart to do so.
