Hearing aid/BSL fund

For anyone visiting this page who doesn't know me, my name is Rhiannon, I live in Chester, and I've just turned 28 years old. I've also just found out I'm losing my hearing due to extensive nerve damage in my ears. Next month I'm picking up my NHS hearing aids. Unfortunately my hearing has deteriorated so much and so quickly that I can't have the smaller, more discreet hearing aids on the NHS, only the big old fashioned ones. At 7/8 years old I was partially deaf, and got a big old fashioned hearing aid, the kind that sits behind your ear. I was so overjoyed to hear all the sounds I never knew I was missing, like running water, or my sister turning the page in a book! Suddenly the world was full of music and laughter and voices I'd never heard properly. Unfortunately a few days later the kids at school noticed this big strange thing sat on my ear, and the unkind words started. No one wanted to be friends with the girl with glasses and a hearing aid. It didn't take long for the bullying to turn physical, and even after I got rid of the aid it continued to the point where boys at school broke my bones.
Now I know I'm  not 7 anymore, and I know I'm not going to be beaten up for having the aids this time, but I'm really struggling not to go back to that place in my head when it was so hard for me back then. 
I can get smaller, more discreet aids if I go to a private provider, but they're not cheap. I'm looking at over £2000 for a pair, and that's not the kind of money I have. 
I also want to learn British Sign Language along with my sister, so that I can still communicate with her if/when it reaches the point that the aids don't work, so any money towards that would be amazing, as I can't find any free classes in my area. 
If you could spare even a couple of pounds towards funding my aids/BSL classes I would be forever grateful. 
Me, my mum, and my sister will all be doing some fundraising activities to help raise the money too, so watch this space!
