Health for Hurricane Victims

Hello! My name is Saipriya Potluri, and I am starting this campaign to raise funds for the medical needs of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey victims. Both of these public health disasters have caused major flooding and the places affected by these hurricanes are facing critical shortages. Thousands are in desperate need of aid, medicine, and basic supplies. Environmental illnesses and disease outbreaks are intensifying in these areas. This type of situation is a nightmare for people with chronic diseases. During these times, it can be extremely difficult for people with adverse health conditions to evacuate and find shelters. Also, as a result of stress during these types of disasters, mental health issues intensify. Due to increased medical needs, prescription shortages also occur. 

All money raised in this campaign will go to americares foundation which is a  health-focused relief and development organization that responds to people affected by disaster with life-changing health programs.
