<div>The Siona people are an indigenous community living in the Ecuadorian Amazon and Putumayo Department of Colombia. Today, there may be fewer than 500 Siona people on the planet! Most Ecuadorian Siona live in the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve in the Amazonian province of Sucumbios.

<div>Our Wichana Foundation medical trips in November 2021, March 2022, November 2022, August 2023 and March 2024 to assist the Siona people in the Cuyabeno area of the rainforest were very successful. Starting with our third visit, we brought an expanded medical team, including a physical therapist and a portable dental unit. We also brought small water filtration systems to help reduce the widespread intestinal parasites problem in the Cuyabeno communities. We are now planning our sixth medical brigade visit to take place in March 2025 and need additional donations of approximately $5,000 to make it happen.

<div>This Wichana Foundation campaign will raise funds to make the March 2025 visit possible and for medicines that the patients in these indigenous communities can't afford.
