Health Internship in Nicaragua

I am raising money to go to various urban and rural areas of Nejapa, Nicaragua as a global health intern this summer. The program consists of a three week course and a five week research project focusing on women's health. I am excited to work with Amos Health and Hope, a nonprofit founded on Christian principles that works with local leaders and healthcare workers to identify and meet the health needs of the Nicaraguan people. The internship is unpaid, so I will need to raise $2,047 for food, lodging, and in-country travel, and $2,853 for the project costs. That is a total of $4,900 by May 1st. I have evaluated this organizations tax forms and external reports, as well as talked with them about their work, and I think that they are an effective and altruistic organization worth supporting! I would be grateful for your support, even just $5, because without it I will not be able to be involved in this awesome project. Thanks so much!
