Healing Janine

On December 8th 2017 Janine was rushed to the Abington ER with severe abdominal pains and violent vomiting. From there she was transferred by ambulance to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

She has since underwent THREE  surgeries, spent countless hours in the ICU of Penn, lost over 20 pounds, and endured many days/nights spent in the hospital during the holiday season  - our girl spent all of Christmas Eve and Christmas in the hospital.

Janine was released from the hospital on December 31st only to arrive back at HUP on January 5th with complications from surgery and both viral infections (a rare strain of the flu) and the GI bug. 

All of which put even more strain on her already weak body.

During all this Janine has been unable to work. Her medical bills (mind you she also had major surgery in July of 2017 - unreleated to this recent emergency surgery) are piling up as she sits, exhausted, scarred (mentally and emotionally), and waiting for her body to heal; which will take up 2 months if not longer.

*Keep in mind, she has undergone 4 major surgeries in 2017*

Janine has spent her life giving back to others and is devoted to God. She has spent many nights feeding the homeless, building shelters for those in need, listening to stories of every sort from people around the world, and always caring for those who need love.
