Healing Treatments for Maritza

Our dear friend and beloved Spanish teacher, Maritza, had a bad fall at work last Monday. Emergency services took her to the hospital and she continues to be seen as an outpatient. However, Maritza is still experiencing numerous painful symptoms, which keep her from caring for her family and teaching her classes.
As many of you know, often times the best treatment comes from alternative therapies that insurance or worker’s comp does not cover. Our school has offered all its support to Maritza and though worker’s comp continues to cover her in-network treatment, we are hoping to supplement this care and relieve Maritza's various painful symptoms with the healing work of a tried and true local doctor of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Barbara Newlon.
Maritza's first appointment is scheduled for December 19th. As a busy mother and teacher, it is important that Maritza has an opportunity for deep healing and we would like to ask for our community’s support to offer her this gift as she has consistently given her all for her family, students, and colleagues.
