Healing Tarlia

Tarlia is a beautiful 16yo girl, Last night she has had a accident on the trampoline, after flipping and landing on her neck/back awkwardly, which has resulted in her having 6 spinal fractures, she will need to be in hospital flat on her back for 6 weeks, and then faces a spinal brace for another 6 weeks after that. The doctors say that she will be transferred to Fiona Stanley hospital rehab for most of her stay, and is facing a very lengthy rehabilitation which will require a high level of care. Tarlia also has significant mental health conditions which require a high level of care and will need someone to stay with her for the duration of her stay in hospital.

Tarlia’s Mum Samantha is a working single Mum to 3 kids and will have to take extended leave to care for Tarlia, which will result in a substantial income loss, also an increase in fuel because , Fiona Stanley is over 30mins from her home, and will need to go back and forth to care for her other kids as well as the cost of parking at the hospital and high costs associated with caring for a child in hospital for extended amount of time.

I started this page to help ease the financial burden, so Samantha and her kids can focus on Tarlia’s recovery.
