Healing offering for Gomez family

I’m setting up this page to let everyone know about an opportunity to give back to a family that has given so much to their community, church, friends, family, and country. The Gomez family was a victim of a road rage incident in where their father, Bumper Gomez was shot in the hand and will need multiple surgeries and physical therapy to repair it. Bumper, who is a retired MSgt with the U.S Marines,  has served our country for 20 years and has been deployed overseas more than six times. The family is blessed that he was not injured more severely in this incident, but he will have a long road to recovery. I'm not writing this because the Gomez family will not survive or get through this traumatic event. I'm 100% certain that the Gomez family will get through this emotionally and spirituality. What I'm doing is asking everyone to take this opportunity to be part of the recovery process, so this event in their life does not impact or change the family that we know and love. If we can get 500 people to donate $30 we could raise up to $15,000 to ease the financial burden that this senseless event has created. I believe that good always overcomes evil, please join in on this opportunity to prove that statement and give a family that has and will continue to give to us all.
