Healing My Way

My loving community of family and friends, it’s been quite a journey this last year for our our family as my wife Yve has been experiencing an aggressive form of breast cancer. Last August 2017, as our family enjoyed time at the beach decompressing from an amazing vacation in Sayulita, Nayarit, Yve received a phone call that claimed she had stage 4 breast cancer. That news shocked our whole family when just minutes prior to the call, we were playing and frolicking on the beach. As I saw her sobbing on the phone wanting answers, the rest of our family listened and questioned as to why this was happening to our beloved Yve.

We decided to take action immediately when our attempts to get in for an MRI and PT scan as soon as possible failed to satisfy her needs. The following week, she set up 4 interviews with  alternative doctor clinics in Baja California and she decided on one.  A Pet Scan determined she was in fact at stage one and she continued to receive numerous alternative treatments.  3 weeks later they confirmed that her tumor had reduced half in size. The doctor advised that she should stay there two more weeks after her initial three weeks of treatment but her intuition guided her to spend two weeks at the Optimum Health Institute in San Diego California.  She followed her inner guidance and it pointed her to detox from the 2 low dose chemo treatments, which she was reluctant to receive in the first place. The low dose chemo treatments she received at the clinic shocked her nervous system and ignited the trauma that lead to the dormant viruses of Epstein Barr and Lyme disease to wake up. She worked on herself diligently for two years trying to keep those two viruses dormant. She feels these chronic viruses are partly the reasons her immune system was compromised in the first place and didn’t want to backtrack on her health.

In October, the tumor was removed at the same clinic she started her treatment in and was followed by another week at the Optimum Heath Institute.  The total costs for those treatments and surgery were about $40,000 just from August 2017 to December 2017.

She refused to receive radiation for various reasons and continued at home on her health journey fearless like the Warrior Goddess that she is.   The tumor in the same breasts decided to return on April of 2018.  This time around she has become more mindful, open- minded, patient, and willing to empower herself with the knowledge and wisdom that comes from this kind of  "health opportunity."  She has learned that the most powerful treatments are not easily accessible and when they are found, they will most likely not be covered by insurance. The numerous tests that have been giving her the best results in this journey, unfortunately are not covered by insurance.  Some of those tests have been $2,500. The total of her medical treatments have  gone over $66,000 from the date of her initial diagnosis.  This is not counting time off from work she needed to take to heal Epstein Barr two years prior to cancer and me taking work off in support of her needs.   We have received tremendous gifts in every form from family, friends, and community to help with the financial challenge. But there is still more!

On August 23rd, after much thought and various doctors opinions later, she scheduled her bi-lateral mastectomy with reconstruction in Los Angeles California which is only partially covered by insurance.  To preserve her body’s immune system we want the best reconstructive surgeons with minimal scheduled surgeries and trauma.   The total expense will be slightly over $20,000.  She is currently strengthening her immunity in various ways, staying in a balanced mental state, and continuing to LIVE joyfully.  Her joy puts a big smile on my face because I know that it's her natural pure state. She is getting that joy back! This experience is making my wife a better Woman and her health, wellness, and vitality has deepened. Her goal is to empower individuals that are faced with any health opportunities that compromise their vitatily as she has found so many nuggets of wisdom on this path that so many conventional doctors overlook.   She has discovered a deeper love and compassion for herself and others through this Warrior path and she speaks daily of the enormous up-leveling in her awareness that she has embodied.
