Healing Kian's Heart

James “Kian” Porter was born on February 8, 2018 to the loving parents of Keith and Sarah. Just a few weeks prior Kian was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect that would require immediate attention and surgery. Sarah was able to fly from Alaska to Los Angeles and prepare for delivery at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital so that Kian could immediately receive care at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Kian is receiving excellent care and underwent heart surgery on February 13th. He is doing well but has a long road of healing ahead.

The family of Keith and Sarah (Mokracek) Porter are establishing this page to help raise funds for Kian’s continued care and to help support his Mom and Dad as they have been by his side. Keith will soon return to work in Alaska while Sarah remains with Kian. Medical treatment, living expenses in Los Angeles and travel have been overwhelming.
