HEALING BABY EMMA

We have a very important little family member who needs a lot of help. Six month old Emma is first born child to Will and Samantha (my oldest niece).

Little Emma has been in-and-out of Children's Hospital in Conroe, Texas. She is being treated for issues related to breathing and recurring pneumonia. One of her symptoms is low muscle strength, which must also be treated with physical therapy. Emma currently has a breathing tube that helps her get enough breaths. Doctors are weaning her from that now and hope to remove it as soon as she is ready.

Emma has been hospitalized (this time) since August 7, 2017. To date, Mommy has not been able to hold Emma in over a week, and even longer for Daddy. She has not received an official diagnoses as the hospital is awaiting genetic testing results to help with that. Doctors and staff are taking very good care of Emma, enough so, that they hope to have her back home soon.

It is anticipated that when little Emma gets home she will need medical equipment including a CPap machine, IVP machine to help her cough, as well as monitors to keep up with her heart rate and oxygen levels. Additionally, depending on the diagnoses, Mommy and Daddy might have to hire a nurse to be at the house and more equipment.

Mommy and Daddy are native Texans, both hard working and responsible parents who have dedicated there lives to precious Emma. Our family has strong faith in the power of the Lord and all he can do to heal those in need. With that faith, we request prayers for Emma's continued recovery.

As many of us know, rising health care costs and endless copays are adding up. Any monetary amount donated toward helping baby Emma is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read about Emma and our family. I will post updates as to her care etc.
