This past weekend, Saturday, August 25, 2018, our world was forever rocked. It felt like it flipped upside down. We got word that my brother Reuben (the most loving,caring,giving,happy go lucky guy we know...) was taken to the hospital by ambulance..
He started with symptoms of what he first felt was a bad flu bug of vomiting , fever,chills, headache & stiff neck earlier in the week. He had seen his Dr.. Later in the week, he was feeling worse so he went to a hospital. He felt worse & worse as the days went on. By Saturday, he was way way worse. They had to call the ambulance. He tried to walk and no longer could. He kept falling to the floor. He was so determined to walk but despite every attempt, he was not able to. He kept falling down.
He is now admitted in the hospital.They are doing some very very deep deep tests at this time. (We are in the hurry up and wait mode!)
My darling hubby & I are very ill with a flu bug and bad cold. We can not be there for my brother as we would normally be due to his current situation.
We wanted to help in some small way from here. That way him and his darling wife Jennifer and their two young children Travis and Chelsea can let daddy get better and mom can be there for him during this time as much as possible...
We knew we needed to do something for this darling couple and their two beautiful children to take some pressure off. We decided to do this go fund me fundraiser to help them out.The money raised will be used for many things including helping to cover their bills, utility bills, rent, and food to eat while at the hospital for Jennifer. Many people have been wanting to help. This is a way we can all band together and help them relieve some stress so that all Reuben and Jennifer need to focus on is Reuben getting well again! He will need time to heal and recover. At this point, he is not allowed to walk. He is on bed rest.
Prayers for his healing are for sure gratefully accepted and appreciated. But as family and friends, lets step up and band together to show these two that they have a whole level of love and support! A support group who wish to shower them during this difficult time. As all of you know, Reuben and Jen are BOTH the kind of people who are givers and would give the shirt off their backs IF any of us would be in their shoes right now! So lets show LOVE & Prayers and Support during this time by helping in every way we can (taking care of their children,being there for them as a support,sending up prayers and yes, helping relieve some pressure financially) as they take so much time off of work to help

Please keep in mind as soon as we know more we will post updates and let you all know more...
Also,please give. whatever you can, every single dollar does make a difference. Let's surround them with the love and support this couple so deserves at this time. Also, lets help Jen be able to park in the safest and easiest location which is the hospital parking. Let's open our hearts and band together and give whatever you feel lead to give...

P.S.Please please keep them in your prayers and their two young children... Travis and Chelsea (the poor children do not understand what is going on and why they are not allowed to see their daddy. Their poor hearts are crying and confused for sure so please lift my darling Niece and Nephew in your prayers also...)
