Healing & Hope for Makeithra & Gregory
Makeithra or "Ketra" Evans is known for lighting up the stage and screen with her powerful portrayal of various characters. Now, Makeithra and her family could use some of that light shined back at them.
Makeithra's husband, Gregory Evans, Sr. was in a horrific motorcycle accident in July of 2020. Although he miraculously survived, he has not been home since. He is still at a care facility, attempting to heal from his serious Traumatic Brain Injury, fractured spine (in multiple places), broken arm and clavicle. He has not been able to speak since the accident.
As if the physical effects were not enough, the financial effects have been devastating as the person who ran a red light and hit Gregory, had a revoked license and no insurance.
Makeithra had experienced the death of her mother a few months prior to the accident and then she was laid off from her place of employment due to COVID. Her father has also been very ill.
The emotional and financial toll of these events have been heart-wrenching. Makeithra visits Gregory often and is as always, is his loving companion. Gregory is unable to communicate with anything other than a blink, but those blinks are a sacred blessing to them.
The Evans' need help at this time. If you could contribute ANY amount, they would be so very grateful. Without Makeithra's income coming in and with medical bills piling up, Makeithra is overwhelmed. However, Makeithra continues to be full of faith, "It's been very, very, very difficult, but through God, He is making it all possible."
Any amount will be such a blessing to Makeithra and Gregory. Let's do what we can to help the Evans', so that they can continue to shine their light on the rest of us.
