Hello! My name is Melanie Slappey (I go by “O”), and I feel a strong calling to create great change in this world. Right now, the Earth is suffering...people are suffering...and I truly want to ask….How much longer must we be polite and stay within these current systems which are not solving our current problems? For the last several years I have been working in the field of Deaf education, and now my vision for my life has grown. I no longer want to just stand by and “do what I can” within my environment...I have a dream of helping others in a much, much larger way.
I am now choosing to devote myself to a path of developing the depth of my human character and become a bright light of hope for this world and those around me. Six months ago I started on a journey of self-healing, self-realization, and self-discovery through Eastern healing and meditation training with Body & Brain Yoga. Within this very short time, I have developed tremendous clarity regarding what I want for my life, and what will be possible when I train and develop the power I have inside.
In pursuing this journey, I am now asking for anyone who would like to support me to help make this dream come true. I will need to go through several training courses to begin this journey and I am raising $15,000 to cover my entire range of courses to become an instructor and a healer. Although you may not fully understand the essence or logistics of what I am choosing now, I sincerely pray that you feel the hope, conviction, and power that is alive in my heart. I truly believe that this practice will bring about profound healing within families, communities, and society at large, and I feel a responsibility to raise others up with all the gifts I have been given. The funds I am raising will take me through the Master training program of Body and Brain and help me to become a leader working with more hope and love upon this Earth.
