Help Tina Pearce Heal from Tragedy

Our beloved Tina Pearce was involved in a horrific car accident, Thursday Oct 12, 2017. Tina was travelling on highway 80 bringing her beloved 12 year old beagle Lucy to the 24 hour emergency vet in Reno, NV. Tina was hit head on by a drunk driver, driving on the wrong side of highway. Tina was life flighted to Renown Medical Center with serious injuries to her face, legs and pelvis. With no injuries to her chest, or arms, it is believed that Lucy ended up between her and the steering wheel, taking the brunt of the impact. Lucy was Tina's life. Tina was getting Lucy the care she needed and in the process saved Tina's life.
Tina is still in ICU as of 10/20/17 recovering from her injuries. Tina has had several major surgeries this week with more scheduled in the coming weeks. With each procedure, comes positive news. Tina's body is responding as well as possible, given the circumstances, although she is still in a fragile state, and in much pain.
Those who know tina, know that she radiates love, strength, and compassion for all living things. If you haven't met her, spend five minutes in her presence and you will know these words to be true.
Now, Tina needs that love, strength, and compassion back. We know Tina will overcome this senseless tradgedy, but she faces a long, difficult road to recovery. Tina will most likely be in the hospital for the next 6-8 weeks. We set up this Go Fund me to relieve Tina of the financial burden that comes with such a horrific accident. Between medical bills, rehab, totaled car and love lost, lets please give back to someone who has given us all so much.

STOP someone from driving drunk. Report drunk drivers, and if you are drinking, drink with a plan. Designate a sober driver, use public transportation or call a friend or family member. It only takes one bad decision to affect hundreds of lives. We are so fortunate to still have Tina, but the pain and loss she has faced will not go in vain. Our mission is to bring awareness to this tradgedy in hopes that Tina's story can stop someone from making the same mistake that resulted in her accident. Please in Tina's name, spread love, compassion and awareness.
