Headstone for Zachary Jewett

R.I.P. Zachary Jewett. July 22nd 1994-December 2nd 2017
------------------------------------------------------

For all who knew him, Zachary Jewett was a ray of sunshine. His smile and laugh were infectious. Zack was the life of any party he walked into, his energetic friendliness breaking down all barriers. He was charming and zany and absolutely wonderful. His friends knew that he would always be there to offer advice, a shoulder, or to do almost anything at all just to get them to laugh. He is completely irreplaceable.

As a little brother, he often drove us (his sisters) completely nuts. He could be impetuous and sly and was too smart for his own good. And we loved all those parts of him, too. He was great at boardgames and would get very competitive with us. We built countless blanket forts in the house, and forts made of branches outside. We climbed trees together, and marveled at Zack's ability to hang upside down in the most precarious positions. The memories Desiree and I have are as precious as they are painful now.

I am writing this with a broken heart. Zack has left behind so many people who cared deeply, and he left us far too young, at the age of 23, over this past weekend. As the stories, photos, and condolences have been pouring in, we have been in awe. The number of lives Zack touched, inspired, and changed is unbelievable. Hearing from everyone who loved our young Zack is heartwarming and incredible, and over these very hard days it brings a measure of comfort. Thank you all for that, truly and from the bottom of my heart.

Our Dad, Wayne Jewett, has been preparing the funeral services and arrangements. As the costs are mounting, we soon need to start looking at headstones as well. As a family, we want to give Zack the most respectful and beautiful goodbye that we can. It's extremely important to us that we are able to place a headstone that honors his beautiful soul. As such, and after much thought, we have decided to ask for help towards this cost. Though we wish this were not necessary, it has become apparent that we cannot bear these costs alone.

For any help you can give, even simply sharing this page, thank you a million times over.

Peace and Blessings to you all.
-Chelsea Jewett
