Lynn York-Lemke was recorded to have taken her own life on October 4th 1989 by gunshot to the chest.

The El Cajon Police Department Failed her. They did not properly investigate her alleged suicide.

Important facts were overlooked and family pleading for more investigation was ignored.... After 31 years of my Aunts remains missing, we want them back. She was never supposed to be hidden away in an unmarked grave as a final "F*** You" from her husband.

She loved her family, she went to church. She suffered from epilepsy. She was just done with her marriage and wanted out.
She arrived home and was dead within 45 minutes. She gave her husband a letter requesting a divorce. She called a friend and said he was acting weird and thought he was going to kill her. She was concerned but they weren't fighting during the call. Her friend was going to check on her in the morning. But he was too late.

By 8:33pm a 911 call was made and her husband waited outside for the police. He told them there was a letter in a dresser drawer indicating suicide.

The letter was intent to divorce. That was it. However, it was probably emasculating, as it stated he was lazy, wouldn't work, and she was giving him a divorce for his birthday. This was in 3 days.

There is a 13-15 minute window between him allegedly "finding" her body and calling 911. No evidence was collected, other than, the letter, the gun, the bag of amination, and the shell casing. They didn't even try to remove the bullet from the wall. It remains there to this day.

The police department says they have destroyed all documentation of her case, including any evidence. They now refuse to acknowledge me. I know they have the 3 remaining supplemental reports on microfilm somewhere. Yet they are refusing that this exists.

My last remaining hope is that we can get her story out, and to get her remains moved.

This is my journey to the TRUTH.
