Headstone for Kellianne Tomlinson
Donation protected
As you all know, our beloved Kellianne passed away on July 25, 2018 at age 27 after a long battle with T1 diabetes, kidney disease, and numerous other ailments. Unfortunately, due to extraordinary medical bills and funeral expenses, Kellianne has gone without a headstone or grave marker since her passing. We are coming up on the 2nd anniversary of her passing, and I do not want another year to go by without honoring her memory with the marker she deserves.
Despite everything she went through, Kellianne maneuvered her circumstances with grace and faith. I don't know if I would have, or could have, handled it with the same kind of strength or intelligent humor she always showed.
Kellianne was a power force of nature. Intelligent, kind, honest, and genuine...those words don't do justice to the kind of person she was, and I'm not sure there is anything I could say to make anyone who didn't know her understand just how much better the world was with her in it, and how much darker it feels now that she's gone. She was magical. Kellianne hoped to one day become a doctor because she wanted to make the world a better place, but I don't know if she realized how much better she made the world by simply existing.
Kellianne was my sister, and there aren't enough words to explain how much I loved her and how difficult grieving her loss has been over the last 2 years.
I am coordinating this with Stephanie Samples in Alexandria on behalf of Kellianne's parents, and will provide an update once funds have been raised and the marker has been picked out, and have already been in contact with Mount Comfort, where she is buried, to get the process started. Headstones and grave markers are extremely costly, and absolutely any amount will help. All funds will 100% be put towards her marker.
Thank you in advance for any help you're able to provide so that we can gift Kellianne's family by honoring her final resting place.
