<div>My name is Barbara Geidel and my family suffered a tragic loss due to the fast moving Head Fire in Siskiyou County, CA on August 15, 2023. I served with the US Forest Service for 14 seasons as a Fire Lookout on the Klamath National Forest, keeping vigil over my family, neighbors and friends.
</div>
<div>My oldest brother, Ken Lee Oliver, 71 years young, perished in the fast moving fire. His wife, Diane, was severely burned and is now receiving vital treatment at a burn center in Portland, OR
</div>
<div>Their children, Christopher, Elan and Savana are reeling from the loss of their father and have put their lives on hold to support their beautiful mother during this horrific time.
</div>
<div>Your donations will help my brothers children pay their expenses during this time, and hopefully get a safe and comfortable “temporary” home, i.e, Tiny Home, for my sister in law, once she is able to come back to the River we love.
