Head Bands for Heroes

Set up by Estelle Williams and jude Paternoster , Estelles mum was hospitalised with Covid19, shes better now but during her time in hospital, she met an amazing nurse named Alice who was wearing a headband with buttons on the side in order to hold her mask in place whilst avoiding wearing behind her ears.

As we all know, the NHS is running very low on PPE and the wonderful staff are asked to wear face masks which, while necessary, sadly pull and rub behind their ears. So...Granny Smith, Alice the Nurses wonderful mum decided to make a head band with buttons at the sides to help alleviate the pain.

We were inspired by this brilliant idea and contacted Alice to ask if we could help in any way. The response has been overwhelming. We have had requests from up and down the country and now need little a help to continue to purchase the materials and ensure we can help as many heroes as possible on the front line...

So far the team have made over 500 and now we need a little extra help. All the money donated will be used to purchase more fabric, elastic, buttons and for shipping, the amazing team who are making the headbands are doing it because they can, and because they care.... please help us to help the front line staff stay comfortable while they care for and save the lives of our neighbours, friends and loved ones.
