He is all heart!
There are a few people in our lifetimes that will happily put your needs ahead of theirs. Brett Fontenot is one of those people! He will always take the time to listen and support in every way he can to ensure that you are being heard and cared for. He has helped so many of us in times of need. He is unwavering in his loyalty and has demonstrated time and time again what it is to be a great man. As a father, he has three wonderful children, two of which have special needs. Even through the unique hardships of raising children with challenges, Brett has diligently and graciously provided an environment that is filled with love so his amazing children could thrive! He is a devoted husband and an incredible friend and he is now in a time of need.
Brett developed bronchitis several weeks ago. He went to the doctor and received an antibiotic prescription. His condition worsened after a week on the medicine. He went back to the doctor who then placed him on prednisone. Several days later he was rushed to the hospital where he was placed in I.C.U. for double pneumonia that had damaged his heart. There is a high probability that Brett will have to undergo a mitral valve replacement and endure a period of recovery before he is able to return to work. This is why his campaign has been created! Brett and his wife are both self-employed, and for many of us that are in a similar position, we understand that if you don’t work, you don’t get paid. I am hoping that we can raise enough on this campaign to allow him the appropriate time to heal. A period where he can be assured that his families needs will be cared for without the financial pressure of managing an emergency that most would be unprepared to handle as well. Lets come together to help our friend and his family.
