<div>Our beloved dog Willow is in hospital, and we need your help to get her the treatment she needs to recover.

<div>On Friday, Willow was admitted to the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. A blood test revealed she had zero platelets - meaning her blood can’t clot. Her immune system had gone into overdrive and started attacking her own body. We suspect this began a few weeks ago after she had a booster jab while she was still recovering from a mild illness.

<div>So we picked her up from the hospital on Sunday only for her condition to worsen. She became severely anaemic and had to be rushed back in for an emergency blood transfusion - we were told it might take more than one. However, despite seeing the light fade from her eyes we have been told that it's a curable condition.

<div>However, as there isn't a dog-NHS and we never quite got around to organising insurance (note to self!) we're finding ourselves with increasing bills and no way to pay - it's been more than a year of repeated rainy days.
</div>

<div>Now we know that there are more important things in the world to be worrying about - and even in our own homes - but Willow and her brother Tango have been the light in what has otherwise been a fairly awful year and a half - they've kept us going. And now we want to keep Willow going. She's only four - and we just want our vibrant, crazy, sweet, loving, beautiful dog back.
