Aubree's fight against Cancer

Hello my name is Christina Tokarski I am a mother of 4 amazing kids 1 boy 10, and three girls 17 months, 4 and 6. In  August  2014 my whole life changed. On August 13, 2014 I was playing with my daughter Aubree, 17months and felt a lump below her left rib. I knew it wasn't normal so I rushed her right to the doctors and they said they are going to order an ultrasound, it just might be backed up stool. So a couple days later we had an ultrasound and I never in my life thought I would get the results that I did. The doctor came back in the room and said they found a tumor on her left kidney and wanted to get a MRI and CT scan for more images and wanted her to see an oncologist. I just broke down and cried. When we got the MRI and CT done and got more result we got more bad news. She had two big tumors on her left kidney called wilms tumor that is a kidney cancer. On August 27, 2014 she had a complete nephrectomy ( left kidney ) and removal of lymph nodes and placement of her port. A couple days after surgery she started her treatments of chemotherapy. She is now doing 19 treatments. The first couple treatments  were going ok. After the more treatments she was getting her blood counts were dropping very low and she was getting very sick. Besides her treatments she is now getting transfusions ( blood and platelets ). She is always getting fevers and a lot of pain. She is on many different types of medication. She goes to the hospital 3x a week for treatment and check ups. She just had her first ultrasound since her surgery and they found a Murphy's sign on her gallbladder. She gets constant infections and pain. Her body is not fighting off any infections due to her immune system. If she gets sick at all she has to be rushed right to the hospital  for she is at risk of a deadly bacterial infection. She is not eating nor drinking much due to chemo she has lost weight and isn't  gaining any since August. The doctors would be making a decision if she will need a feeding tube within a week. It's been alot and very hard on me and her father and my whole family especially my other kids, for my son also has special needs.I am currently living in my parents house due do my house not being livable for the kids, it needs a lot of work to be done to it. With all the cost of prescriptions, trips to the hospital every week, emergency visits, and our living situation it's been very stressful and overwhelming on my family.
