HCSMB's Annual Holiday Giftbuster!
Tax deductible
A couple years ago, our team stopped exchanging gifts at Holidays and asked the question: Why buy each other gifts when we could use that money to do something to help others?
Each year, we pick a worthy cause, pitch in some money as a group, and make a donation.
This year, we've chosen Jimbo and Candi Fisher's
Kidz1stFund.
Kidz1stFund provides education and awareness about Fanconi anemia, and raises money for research with the goal of finding a cure for this disease.
But we didn't just choose it because it's a great cause. We chose it because it's intensely personal to our team:
One of our own, Action Jackson Sadlowe was diagnosed, and bravely battles this rare genetic condition.
Hopefully, our small Holiday effort will assist the foundation to help the many others affected by Fanconi anemia.
