HCPF Humanitarian Response to Haiti's Earthquake
Haitian Community Partners Foundation Inc. (HCPF) and other partner organizations join the Haitian community in solidarity following the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that shook Haiti on Saturday, August 14, 2021, around 8:35 AM. Nearly 1,500 have lost their lives and over 2,000 are left injured according to the latest reports. We are saddened by the disaster that directly impacted many of our family members. Help us in a community effort – HCPF is seeking a collaborative approach from the entire Brockton community that results in a well-coordinated response to the Haitian people. “Humanitarian efforts have no ethnicity; Haitian or not, we need all of Brockton to be a part of this relief effort,” said, Marline Amedee, chair, HCPF board of directors. “We are at a crucial juncture, urgent assistance from the private and the public sector in coordinating these efforts to benefit the victims in Haiti is essential. We have the resources, we have the biggest hearts in Brockton, I am encouraged we will put our best foot forward in providing relief,” said, Tony Branch, HCPF Executive Director.
HCPF will donate 100% of donations to YMCA d’Haiti as our partner organization to organize relief efforts and the distribution of medical supplies, PPE, solar lights, and tents. Please donate today!
