On June 9th 2025 my Sister Joanne's life was turned upside-down with emergency surgery and a cancer diagnosis. Joanne was diagnosed with colon cancer and now has challenges in her daily life that are not easy to navigate as well as a rigorous chemotherapy schedule that she will endure as soon as she is healed from surgery. It has been frightening and obstacle after obstacle. As you can imagine she will be out of work and will need to give up her and her sons home. Although my sisters attitude had been positive and she has her supportive partner and me we cannot fight this alone.
