Hello!  My name is Rhonda Revette.  Many of my friends know me as "Miss Ronnie".  I'm a professional face painter and currently travel all over the East, South and Mid-West with a touring children's dinosaur exhibit. For nearly two years now, I've been hopping in my van nearly every Thursday or Friday and trekking to a different city in a different state.   It's been the opportunity of a lifetime for someone my age  (I'm 53, nearly as old as some of the dinosaurs in our exhibit!)
I don't get paid a salary, but rather a percentage of the revenue for each child I paint so, I work long, grueling hours and must paint as fast as I can to earn enough to make the traveling worth my while. It can be exhausting - but I absoutely love it!

Just recently, my van finally bit the dust... kaput! Even the service department at the dealership cannot find what is causing my van to stall out suddenly while driving 65 miles per hour - a very frightening and frequent occurance. I can drive it around my small town, but I have to add an extra hour to my schedule when doing so, because it stalls out to and from any destination. It eventually starts again, but only if I sit on the shoulder of the road and wait anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour.
Logic tells me I need a need vehicle, and instead of buying a van, I decided to buy a used RV motorhome because it solves a great deal of my problems.  True, it will use much more gasoline than my van did, but I will no longer have to sink money into hotels or spend money at restaurants and fast food joints. I also will no longer have to pay someone to come to my house and take care of my dog and my cats... because they will be able to travel with me!  There are many, many pros and, yes, there are a few cons, too.  But the pros far outweigh the cons.
The number one benefit for buying this motorhome is that I have the opportunity to take it down to Florida to paint at dinosaur shows for the entire month of December... and Clearwater, Florida  is where my Mom is currently getting treatment for stage 4 cancer.  I would pay a million dollars to be able to spend time with her right now and help my sister take care of her.  The condo my Dad rents is small; not enough room for me, let alone my animals.  But I could park the motorhome in the parking lot and live in it.  It's a win-win opportunity.
However, my bank turned me down on a measley $3,000.00 loan.  Why?  Apparently there is a closed account on my credit report that is erroneously reporting 3 missed payments from years ago.  Naturally, I am in the process of rectifying this mistake, but it takes precious time.   I've already put a deposit on the motorhome.  I only need $3,039.00 to pay the balance.  I can pay that myself, once I work the dinosaur shows in Florida.  The RV dealer will still let me make the payments on it, but obviously I can't have the motorhome until the balance is paid off.
To me, $3,039.00 is a very small price to pay to be able to spend some more time with my mother.  But I can't do it without immediate help.  I will pay back each and every person who chips in any amount of money to help me raise this.  If you will so kindly send me an email with your address, I will gladly pay you back in a timely manner.... before the end of January, 2015!

Thank you so much for your help.  Any amount you can is a huge blessing to me!

Sincerely,
Rhonda
(Miss Ronnie)
