Richard and Nicole Housley

This is my sisters brother in law that is serving in the military in Hawaii. They don’t have family out there and need all of the help they can get! They have three small children that need their dad. We are wanting to help support this family. He’s been in the ICU since last Tuesday. We would love to exceed our goal if possible! This is from Nicole’s Facebook page: “On Tuesday, Richard got admitted to the hospital because he got very sick and started to lose function of his face and they still don't have a diagnosis. Basically, he has something (they think it's possibly a virus) that some how got into his brain and caused inflammation which lead to the paralysis of his ability to close his eyes all the way, open and close his mouth and swallow. Nights are the worst because he can't sleep very well, if at all. He really is in constant agony. Besides the constant head pain and body being extremely restless and weak, he cannot swallow all of the secretions his body is producing so he has to suck them out day and night constantly. Even while he is trying to sleep so he if coughing all night. If the secretions get into his lungs it could cause phnamoni. He really is at the infections mercy. He is in the ICU and he will be in the hospital until he is able to swallow and eat again. These things we take for granted. God truly blesses us with health each day and really puts how profound a perspective on us when we lose or see someone lose a function as simple as swallowing. God is good. I know he has been preparing him for this challenge and I have seen his hand orchestrate this. And the Angels he has sent so far to take care of us during this time of trial. Pray for him. He really is suffering.”
We are waiting for a current update but I do know that they are struggling right now to know how to treat him. This family is so deserving of our support at this time!! Let’s get as much money raised as possible! Thank you for your help!! ❤️
