Ruben Paredes Emergency Fund

Update: We wanted to thank everyone for your support Ruben Paredes Sr. Passed away peacefully 3/18/2018 all proceeds will go to his wife Ofelia Villarreal to help pay for his funeral costs, medical bills and any remaining funds will go towards house bills and food as Ofelia cannot work. Thank you everyone for your support.


Update: Our father's prognoses has been confirmed poor with no chance of recovery.

After substaining multiple severe and critical brain injuries; including a fracture of the brain stem which controls all consiousnes, the family has decided after many doctor's and second opinions, to end all suffering in the care of hospice.

We ask those to pray for our fathers passing to be peaceful and to bring comfort to the family as we wait for our father to take his finale breaths.

All donations will be going towards funeral expenses, medical bills and if any remaining to help cover housing, and food expenses for his wife whom he leaves behind who cannot work.

Origional post: (see bottom of page for English translation) El viernes, 23 de febrero, Ruben Paredes de Provo, Utah, estaba en un accidente en la carretera 189 cerca de la cascada Bridal Veil.  Sufrio trauma severa a la cabeza y otras heridas.  Sigue en condicion critica en la unidad de cuidado intensivo. Los que conocen a Ruben han visto en propia persona el hombre simpatico y compasivo que es.  Es un esposo y padre carinoso.  La familia es todo para el.  
Mantenerlo en sus oraciones y pensamientos es lo mas importante.  Este fondo se creo para ayudarle a cubrir su porcion de los costos medicos y los gastos de vida que no puede proveer mientras esta recuperando.  Tambien es una manera de mostrar a su familia y amigos que los amamos.  Los gastos empiezan a caer el 30 de marzo de 2018.  

English translation: On Friday, February 23rd Ruben was in a car accident on highway 189 near Bridal Veil Falls.  He suffered severe head trauma and other injuries.  He continues to be in critical condition in the Trauma ICU.  Those who know Ruben have witnessed first hand what a kind and compassionate man he is.  He's a loving husband and father.  His family is everything to him.  Keeping him in your thoughts and prayers is most important.  This fund has been created to assist in covering his portion of medical costs and the family's living expenses which he can't provide while he is in the hospital.  It's also a way to show his family and friends that he is loved.  The expenses start to hit on March 30, 2018.
