Hi. My name is Ozzie Maynard, and I've been a member of the Hayward Spanish SDA Church for most of my life. God has helped the Hayward Spanish SDA Church and I serve the community of Hayward, CA for over 12 years through services like the Pathfinders and Adventurers Club, Adventist Community Services, Bible studies, and more. Families have been fed, the naked have been clothed and lives have been changed, including mine!
The church sanctuary has been literally overflowing with members and visitors for years, and we've been standing, praying, struggling, and waiting humbly for our new temple to be finished. Unexpected costs have put us in a $20,000 budget deficit and we need your help.
The Hayward Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church is currently in need of special donations to fund the purchase of church pews and A/V (Audio-Visual) equipment. Funding is at a deficit of approximately $20,000, which is necessary to fulfill our goal of having our new temple inauguration, open to the community on May 2nd, 2015. The goal is to raise $8,000 dollars for A/V equipment on gofundme.com. The remaining $12,000 dollars needed to complete the purchase and installation of church pews will be fundraised through the hard work and dedication of our 250+ loving church members. Any dollar amount is appreciated in this time of need! We know God will provide because He always does and He always has!
We are currently in need of purchasing the following A/V equipment to complete our A/V booth and better spread the Word of God:
2 Computer Systems = $1700
3 24-inch Monitors = $410 total
Camera Broadcaster/Recorder = $300
Camera Production Switcher = $950
Canon XA25 Camcorder = $2600
Tripod and Tripod Head = $540
Mini HD Cameras ($450 each) = $900 total
Cabling, Hardware, and Accessories = $600
Total Cost: $8000
