From birth these babies have had to prove how strong and tough they are! We find ourselves tested in our faith once again. Haysley Grayce had a fall a few weeks ago and her mom (my sister) pushed for a CT scan. They believed everything to be OK with the fall but informed her that she showed fluid (hydrocephalus). This came as a bit of a shock considering Kaizlynn was the one we have known all along to have Dandy Walker. Haysleys mom is very persistent and got her CT scans referred to a neurologist. On Friday Nov. 6Th the neurologist office called and told Sloan the neurologist saw something he didn't like on the CT scan and that they needed to get Haysley to New Orleans ASAP for an MRI and to prepare to stay overnight. Once there, they found out that Haysley had a tumor connected to her brain stem that had to be removed for biopsy as well as a drain tube to drain the fluid. She underwent brain surgery on Saturday November 7th. She is doing well so far.  She has undergone two rounds of chemo so far and on January 26th underwent yet another brain surgery when more tumor was discovered on a recent MRI. Haysley will now be going through a third surgery to try and remove what is left of the tumor and a cyst that has developed. She will begin six weeks of radiation five days a week followed by another four rounds of chemo. She is strong, courageous, and a fighter. She is a beacon of light for so many with a smile that lights up the world! We ask that everyone join us in prayer for the complete healing of our baby girl! We would like to thank everyone for their continued love, support, and prayers. We know that our God is the Ultimate Healer! In the meantime, Kaizlynn will also need an MRI done to see if she may have the same situation or not. Through all of this Sloan and Taylor have stayed unshaken in their faith that God will get them through this but any prayers you can spare are always welcomed! Taylor has had to miss quite a bit of work throughout this process which is why I come to you all. They are having to pay for meals and anything else they may need, gas for Taylor to be able to go back and forth on top of still having a household they have to keep running. If you can spare anything to help them (they won't ask but I will) any little bit will help and be appreciated more than you know! This will be a long road with these two beauties but God gave them a strong mom and dad! All donations will go directly to Haysley's medical account!
