We are so excited to finally shout it to the rooftops that we are expanding our family through ADOPTION!!!

We have been praying about this for the past year and a half and God has been moving in some pretty mighty ways! Most of you know that we have 2 biological children - Rachel Rose (3) and Walker (2) - who arrived on the scene after some tough infertility treatments and rare diagnosis which landed April on bedrest for 5 months with each pregnancy! There were many times that we would ask God “why” because we knew he loved us and it was hard to understand why he had us walking the path of infertility. I remember when we hit a breaking point after our first round of IVF failed. It was so hard watching April go through the physical and emotional pain. We were so tired. And it was in that moment that God planted the seed of adoption. Through much heart ache - I shared with April that we had the option to adopt. We tried one more cycle of IVF and became pregnant with our sweet Rachel Rose - and Walker arrived shortly afterr!
God used those incredibly hard times to plant a deep seed and he would continue to water it throughout the next 4 years! So here we are now - our hearts are open for whoever God will strategically place into our home! We are excited to be working with a Christian organization called “AIM - Alternatives in Motion” who’s sole ministry is providing for women who are in a desperate place in their life - pregnant without means, tools, support or they have baggage that will not allow for them to properly provide/parent a baby. Their alternative choice is to abort their baby unless someone steps in the gap to provide them with a CHOICE. We want to be the ones to step in the gap. This adoption will be expensive - $35,000 to be exact - but this money isn't “buying a baby” but buying safety, security, food, clothing, medical attention, counseling, and a plethora of other provisions that mothers in this desperate place will need! Wow - what an incredible opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
We have chosen adoption to not only impact 1 life - but we pray that SEVERAL lives will be changed through us sharing the HOPE of Jesus Christ. We are offering this baby a FREE GIFT - one that comes without judgement, expectations or limitations. And when this tiny person enters our home - they will forever be ours - no one can take their “family membership” from them! Earthly adoptions work like our heavenly adoptions! If you have realized that you aren't a perfect person, and asked God to help navigated you through your life - then God is your adopted father! If you know you aren't perfect and haven't accepted God’s free gift of adoption that he offers without judgement (he created you - he knows you aren't perfect), expectations or limitations (there are no limits to how much he loves you) - then guess what?! He is still offering that gift to you! ..

FINANCES:
When we started looking into adoption, we never imagined that we would be headed down the Private Adoption Route - but here we are! We know that God wouldn't lead us here and leave us! We don’t have the entire $35,000 to pay for this adoption. But just like he provided during our infertility treatment, He will provide now! If you want to help us financially by stepping in the gap with us - we invite you to do that here!
$10,000 is needed by mid June so we can start classes, complete background checks, turn in our application etc.
$25,000 is needed in order for us to bring this baby home from the hospital.
In addition, there will be attorney fees that have been estimated to be around $3,000.
Our Goal is to raise $25 ,000. Thank you so much for your support!
