Long-Term Philippine Mission Trip

I am so excited to share with you the amazing opportunity God has given me. The Lord has opened the doors for me to serve as a missionary in the Philippines for 6 months to 1 year starting in April of 2018. I will be serving alongside a group of Calvary Chapel and U Turn for Christ churches on the island of Samar. The Lord has given me the opportunity to serve in many different capacities including ministering at the local hospitals, serving on medical mission teams, ministering to the women in the co-ed prisons, starting a young adult/college ministry, ministering and evangelizing to remote villages and islands around Samar, street witnessing, assisting and serving alongside visiting teams, starting a youth evangelism and discipleship group, serving with the youth, children’s and women’s ministries, as well as serving in any other capacity as the Lord leads.
The Philippines has been heavy on my heart for the last 2 years, and I have been diligently praying that the Lord would open a door to serve there long term as according to His will. I have had the pleasure of being able to go on short term mission trips to the Philippines for the past 2 years, and absolutely fell in love with the country, the culture, and most of all, the people. The Lord has specifically given me a heart for the Philippines, and I have had an unquenchable desire to return there and serve the Lord. After diligent prayer and seeking God’s will, He has continued to confirm to me in multiple ways that the Philippines is His will for me at this time in my life.
I am so incredibly excited about the opportunity and experience that lie ahead on this trip, and I look forward to being able to share with you the incredible works the Lord does while I am there. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support, and I will need to raise $11,600 by March 2018. If the Lord puts it on your heart to support me, I would be eternally grateful. More importantly, I am asking for your support through prayer for both my time leading up to the trip, as well as prayer for my time in the Philippines. Prayer is the fuel that allows me to be successful as I follow God’s leading in ministry in the Philippines.
