Hayley and Ben

So, Hayley AKA Hayley Junior is a dear friend of mine. I worked with her at Petbarn Seaford. I remember the day that Hayley Potter and I interviewed her for the job. She came in to the office and just had this warm contagious feel to her. Towards the end of the interview HP had asked her about her referees and if they were all correct and up to date. She said she wanted to give us a different contact and while she was going through her phone she made this bizarre sound and then it was like she was talking to herself or we weren’t even there lol. HP and I looked at each other and smiled, it was like we had said through our eyes “omg this girl is a weirdo just like us, she is going to fit in perfectly with the team.”

If anyone knows HJ she is extremely warm, kind, intelligent, inviting, thoughtful, caring, bizarre, dorky, contagious with her energy, a ball of fun, the best dancing partner. She is one in a million and I don’t think she realises how beautiful and rare she is. We are all backing her and hope she makes a speedy recovery. She just has to!

On the 23rd of November Hayley and Ben arrived back in Australia after a week away together in Bali. Less than 24 hours later she started experiencing chest pains and felt horrible. Ben called the ambulance where they took her to hospital for further investigating. While in hospital her heart stopped, the hospital staff performed CPR on Hayley for 50minutes. She is currently in an induced coma, sedated and resting comfortably. Ben has said the machines are doing everything for her currently, which is allowing her body to recover from the trauma.
She has a slight infection in her blood because of how long they worked on her and for having to cut her open so she is on antibiotics for that.
They're a bit worried about her right leg as the blood seems to be coagulating there. They are doing daily checks but are worried about saving her leg below the knee.
We all know she is a very strong woman and still has a lot of living to do.

Ben and Hayley have been together for 5 years. They just recently bought their house in Aldinga. They are a young couple just starting out. Hayley Junior is only 24 years young. I am hoping we can relieve the stress of their finances and raise some much needed funds for them.
