Hiya, Pals!!
We are so pleased to be able to introduce to you this handsome stud- Hayden Brandt Young. Hayden was a little too excited to come into the world and because of that he arrived three months early. His Mama Liz's due date was March 1st, but Hayden had other plans (as babies do.) Hayden was born on November 21 at 6:53am. He weighs 2lbs 13oz and is 16 inches long. The Young Family has a long road ahead of them, but they are all fighters and they have been fighting to have this family long before his arrival.
Hayden is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at UConn Hospital. He has a breathing tube, and tubes and wires coming out of his tiny body. Liz was discharged from Backus Hospital less than 9 hours after giving birth (I mean, can we take a second to recognize that strength, courage, and straight up Mama perseverence), and they are spending every minute they can by Hayden's side.
SO, Hayden and his parents need our help. His delivery was very unexpected, and he will undoubtedly be in the NICU for a long while. He was taken from Liz and Bryan immediately after delivery but they were able to see him briefly before he was transferred to UConn. Our goal with this gofundme is to take the monetary burden off of Liz and Bryan so they can focus on getting their peanut the heck out of the NICU and home with them, Ellie, and their fluffy kitties.
Liz and Bryan have been wishing for this little boy for a very long time. Liz was born to be a Mama, and Bryan is already an amazing father. We are hoping to raise enough funds to significantly help with the cost of medical bills, lost wages, travel, and general expenses associated with having a premature baby in the NICU for an extended period of time.
We would be so grateful for any help you are able to give, whether that be a donation or a kind word for the new parents.
