Hay run for the farmers in NSW fires

The long drought and bushfires being experienced in NSW and Queensland have left these areas devastated.  District 6 CFA members who have been deployed to NSW have experienced the heartache of the lack of water and feed for livestock. The farmers of these areas are having to make the hardest decisions to put down their livestock because they can't afford to and don't have access to feed.  It is breaking our hearts, when we see the state of these animals and the despair of the farmers, and from one farming community to another we want to do what we can to help. We are raising funds from District 6 CFA members, their families and friends to send truck loads of hay up to the worst affected areas. We hope to send at least 6 trucks by Xmas. Each truck costs roughly &7000.
