Hay for my Horses in Corona Times

For those who don´t know me, I am Conny, owner of 8 beautiful horses, that used to form part of my team for horse riding holidays and treks in the andalusian countryside. And all those who do know me, can confirm that my horses are part of my family for me.
Things started to turn complicated back in march 2020, when first holiday cancellations came in, due to coronavirus infections, from the north of Europe, and I decided to temporarily close my business to keep costs low. That decision turned out to be one of the worst in my life, as I was not oficially working on march 14th 2020, when Spain declared it´s first alarm state. As this day would be the clue to all government support later, I did not recieve any subsidies ever since!
Already last year´s amount of hay for 8 horses I was only able to buy thanks to the support of familiy, friends and my amazing guests. Unluckily, we are still in the same situation, in theory I am allowed to work, but with movement only allowed in our own province or even village, and travel restrictions for tourists still up, there is just no possible client! I don´t see another solution than calling out for help again, to be able to buy the year´s provision of hay for my horses by end may.
Ideally, that would be 730 bales of hay, so I can feed 2 bales daily. That would be the sum of 2.500,- euros specified in this campaign. This year I managed with less hay, 420 bales, and the horses had a bit more straw instead. That would be my second aim, the sum of 1.500,- euros. I am still optimitic to be able to work later in summer, so that I can hopefully pay the additional straw by myself!

Für alle, die mich nicht kennen, ich bin Conny, Besitzerin von 8 wunderbaren Pferden, die bis letztes Jahr Teil meines Teams für Reiturlaub und Trails in Andalusien waren. Und alle die mich kennen, wissen, dass meine Pferde für mich Teil der Familie sind.
Leider ging es im März 2020 bergab mit uns, als erste Stornierungen wegen des Coronavirus kamen, und ich mich entschloss, meinen Betrieb vorläufig zu schliessen, um Kosten zu sparen. Das war letztlich eine der schlechtesten Entscheidungen meines Lebens, denn damit war ich am 14.3.2020, als Spanien den Alarmzustand erklärte, nicht als Betrieb tätig. Da dieser Tag Stichtag für alle staatlichen Hilfen wurde, habe ich davon leider keinen einzigen Cent bekommen.
Schon letztes Jahr konnte ich den Jahresvorrat an Heu für 8 Pferde nur Dank der unglaublichen Hilfe von Familie, Freunden und meinen wunderbaren Gästen bezahlen. Leider hat sich die Situation seitdem nicht wirklich geändert, ich darf zwar theoretisch arbeiten, aber wegen der Bewegungseinschränkungen auf die eigene Provinz oder sogar das eigene Dorf, und die weiterhin bestehende Abriegelung Andalusiens zu touristischen Zwecken gibt es einfach keine Gäste!
Ich muss deshalb nochmals um Hilfe bitten, um auch für dieses Jahr bis Ende Mai den Jahresvorrat an Heu für 8 Pferde kaufen zu können.
Idealerweise wären das 730 Ballen Heu, damit ich 2 Ballen täglich füttern kann. Das wäre der Betrag von 2.500€ von dieser Aktion. Dieses Jahr bin ich mit weniger Heu über die Runden gekommen, 420 Ballen, und die Pferde hatten mehr Stroh als Raufutter zusätzlich. Das wäre ein Betrag von 1.500,- Euro, und mein alternatives Ziel. Ich hoffe immer noch, dass ich später im Jahr wieder arbeiten kann, und das Stroh dann selber bezahlen kann!

Para quienes no me conocen, soy Conny, propietaria de 8 amables caballos, que hasta la primavera del año pasado formaban parte de mi equipo para ofrecer rutas y vacaciones a caballo. Y quienes sí me conocen, sabrán que mis caballos son parte de la familia para mí.
Los problemas empezaron, cuando a principios de marzo de 2020 empezé a recibir cancelaciones de reservas por el nuevo coronavirus y decidí darme de baja como empresa temporalmente, para no acumular gastos sin tener ingresos. Esto en la retrospectiva fue una de las peores decisiones de mi vida, porque así no existía como empresa el 14 de marzo de 2020, cuando España declaró el Estado de Alarma, ya que esta fecha solía ser y sigue sienda la fecha clave para pedir ayudas del gobierno. Quiere decir, que no recibí ni un céntimo para sobrevivir con mis caballos!
Ya el año pasado solo he podido pagar el heno gracias a la ayuda de mi familia, amigos y mis clientes estupendos. Y desgraciadamente, la situación no ha cambiado mucho, con todas estas restricciones de movimiento simplemente no hay posibles clientes! Por eso, y para no tener que tomar decisiones más drásticas, vuelvo a pedir vuestra ayuda para poder comprar el heno de este año para mis caballos a finales de mayo de 2021.
Idealmente, esto serían 730 pacas, 2 al día, equivalente a 2.500,- €. Aunque este año he conseguido mantener los caballos con menos heno, 420 pacas, echando más paja como comida de forraje. Esto equivale a 1.500,- €, y sería mi plan B.
Todavía soy optimista de poder trabajar otra vez a lo largo de este año, y espero poder pagar la paja necesaria por mi cuenta!
